Basketball Game Preview: North Atlanta Warriors vs. Forsyth Central Bulldogs

The North Atlanta Warriors will challenge the Forsyth Central Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

North Atlanta is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 79-76 win over Alpharetta on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Forsyth Central hadn't done well against South Forsyth recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Forsyth Central narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past South Forsyth 60-58. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

North Atlanta's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Forsyth Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
