Football Recap: Redlands Terriers vs. Palm Desert Aztecs
If Redlands was feeling good fresh off their 35-14 takedown of San Gorgonio last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Terriers took a hard 50-35 fall against the Palm Desert Aztecs on Friday. The Terriers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aztecs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2015.

Redlands' loss came despite strong showings from Anthony Fraire and Collier Colbert. Fraire threw for 488 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per attempt, while Colbert picked up 226 receiving yards and three TDs. Redlands now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Palm Desert, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. After each having a week off, Redlands and Beaumont will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Terriers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Palm Desert, they will head out on the road to face off against Xavier Prep at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Saints' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Aztecs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
