Baseball Recap: Isle of Wight Academy Has No Trouble Against Peninsula Catholic

The third road contest was the charm for Isle of Wight Academy, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the Peninsula Catholic Knights by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday. That looming 4-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Chargers yet this season.

Isle of Wight Academy's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cody Thomas, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Thomas has posted since back in April of 2024. Jason Chapman was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
