Softball Recap: North Decatur Takes a Loss

North Decatur fell victim to Rising Sun and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Shiners. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

North Decatur saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Libby Crawford, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. Riley Hash also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

North Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Rising Sun, their win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Shiners beat North Decatur by a score of 13-1 later that day.
