Basketball Recap: Chardon Takes a Loss

Chardon suffered their closest defeat since January 16, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Chagrin Falls Tigers by a score of 64-62. The Hilltoppers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Spencer Kaas had an outrageously good game for Chagrin Falls as he went 11 of 14 en route to 25 points. Kaas continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brad Russell, who posted ten points.

Chardon's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Chagrin Falls, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Chardon will head out to face off against South at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chagrin Falls, they will welcome Harvey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chagrin Falls is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.
