Basketball Recap: Jones Christian Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Jones Christian Academy can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past the Aletheia Christian Academy Lions with points to spare, taking the game 65-49. That's more bragging rights for the Warrior, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Bailey, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Kendrick Williamson was another key player, putting up 18 points.

The win got Jones Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
