Baseball Game Preview: Simi Valley Pioneers vs. Moorpark Musketeers

For the second straight game, Simi Valley will face off against Moorpark. The Pioneers will head out on the road to take on the Musketeers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Simi Valley has 12 straight victories, Moorpark has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Simi Valley beats Moorpark with nine runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Pioneers blew past the Musketeers 9-1 on Wednesday.
