Ferguson came up big in Beavercreek's 4-3 loss
Beavercreek was sadly handed a loss on Monday, but Haley Ferguson did her best to prevent it. Ferguson was dynamite, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
Even though Ferguson couldn't lead Beavercreek over Centerville, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ferguson has dominated as far as innings are concerned (she's averaged 5.5 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering Centerville has only allowed 1.73 per game this season.
