Loyola Blakefield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Boys Latin Lakers 69-67. The Dons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loyola Blakefield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Ellison, who posted 22 points. Jesse Legree was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Loyola Blakefield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game.
