Albuquerque Academy is a perfect 10-0 against Del Norte since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Chargers will be playing at home against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Albuquerque Academy's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Del Norte has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Albuquerque Academy came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Atrisco Heritage Academy, falling 15-9.

Joseph Rounds stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Olson, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Del Norte lost 11-1 to West Mesa on Saturday.

Del Norte saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dakari Morenike, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Del Norte's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Albuquerque Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Del Norte's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Albuquerque Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. It's a different story for Del Norte, though, as they've only averaged .228. Will they be able to contain Albuquerque Academy's hitters?

Albuquerque Academy took their win against Del Norte when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
