Softball Recap: East Helena Comes Up Short

The East Helena Vigilantes came up short against the Fergus Golden Eagles on Thursday, falling 18-4. The Vigilantes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Helena saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keeley Hamilton, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Sloan Ostby also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

East Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Fergus, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, East Helena will host Lockwood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Fergus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
