Basketball Recap: Ada Sets Scoring Season-High Against Marshall

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ada). They really took it to the Marshall Bears for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-4 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-3.

Ada had a senior duo take command as Kennadee Bickerstaff went 8 of 10 en route to 19 points along with seven boards and five steals and Sania Richardson went 8 for 19 on her way to 17 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bickerstaff has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Campos, who went 6 of 13 en route to 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Ada was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Ada has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Marshall, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Ada didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-31 victory against Mount St. Mary on the 24th. Marshall has also already played their next match, a 59-7 defeat against Jones on the 24th.
