Baseball Recap: Merrill Has No Trouble Against Crandon

Merrill barely beat Crandon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bluejays blew past the Cardinals 18-1 on Monday. Considering the Bluejays have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Merrill's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-11. As for Crandon, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Merrill will take on D.C. Everest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Evergreens will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something the Bluejays surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crandon, they will challenge Florence at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
