Baseball Recap: Park Tudor Takes a Loss

After flying high against Jay County on Saturday, Park Tudor came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Wapahani Raiders by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Desmond Francis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Park Tudor's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Wapahani, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Park Tudor is taking a road trip to challenge Indianapolis Shortridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wapahani, they will face off against Hagerstown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Raiders' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Tigers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
