Baseball Recap: Santa Rosa Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against California Military Institute last Wednesday, Santa Rosa Academy came back down to earth. The Rangers fell 13-9 to the Nuview Bridge Knights on Friday. The Rangers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 4-2.

Jackson Morace made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Ledesma, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Santa Rosa Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Nuview Bridge, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Coming up, Santa Rosa Academy will take on Temecula Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nuview Bridge, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against San Jacinto at 3:30 p.m.
