After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Weatherford, Kingfisher was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Cordell Blue Devils as Kingfisher made off with a 6-2 win. The victory continues a trend for Kingfisher in their matchups with Cordell: they've now won six in a row.

The win got Kingfisher back to even at 3-3. As for Cordell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Kingfisher will challenge Harding Fine Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cordell, they will head out on the road to square off against Purcell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cordell is facing Purcell at the right time seeing as Purcell is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
