McCurdy had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 26-point drubbing they dealt Questa on Tuesday. The McCurdy Bobcats were the clear victor by a 61-35 margin over the Questa Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bobcats have posted since January 7th.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Urijah Griego, who posted 14 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Griego a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacovo Cardenas, who scored 12 points.

McCurdy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Questa, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

When McCurdy and Questa next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. McCurdy will take on Mora and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Questa will try to stop Mesa Vista's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
