Itasca entered their tilt with Rio Vista on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victor by a 55-34 margin over the Rio Vista Eagles. The Wampus Cats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 10-6. As for Rio Vista, they moved to 5-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Itasca will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley Mills at 12:15 p.m. on December 31st. Rio Vista and Milford will round out the year against one another at on Friday.
