Volleyball Recap: Hershey Panthers vs. Chase County Longhorns

Hershey lost against Chase County last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hershey Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chase County Longhorns. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 19-25, 25-13.

Demi Damoude paced Hershey's offense, picking up nine kills. Damoude really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 16. Payton Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Leading Chase County to victory were Dylan Heermann and Ava Mcnair. Heermann had 11 digs and two aces, while Mcnair had ten digs.

Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Chase County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-9.

Hershey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Wauneta-Palisade on the 24th. Chase County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
