Volleyball Recap: Luther Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Luther hadn't done well against West Salem recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Knights came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Panthers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Luther walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 10-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Kamryn Anderson went supernova, getting 21 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 13 contests.

When it comes to explaining why West Salem lost, don't look at Addie Jehn. Despite the final result, she had 21 assists and seven digs. With that strong performance, Jehn is now averaging an impressive 12.2 assists per game. Madison Kaiser also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Luther pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for West Salem, with the loss, they broke their 14-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-6.

Looking ahead, Luther will be playing at home against Westby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Salem, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Cuba City on the 11th.
