Volleyball Recap: Paulding Panthers vs. Continental Pirates
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ottoville, Paulding was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Continental Pirates by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 25-23, 25-19.
Paulding can attribute much of their success to Addison Shull, who had 22 digs.
Paulding's record is now 9-11. As for Continental, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Paulding has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tinora on the 8th. As for Continental, they will face off against Ottoville at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Ottoville will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Continental surely won't give up without a fight.
