The Lamphere Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Bishop Foley Ventures at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Lamphere will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Cousino, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Rams came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 11-7 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.
Brooke Harrison (2025) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Faithlynn Donegan (2025) was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Bennett, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Foley). They put the hurt on Cabrini with a sharp 18-0 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Ventures as they're now sitting on three straight.
Emma Behnke made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Behnke was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abbey Jones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Leah Rovner also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Bishop Foley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .643. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Lamphere's record now sits at 8-11. As for Bishop Foley, their record is now 8-10.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lamphere hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like Bishop Foley struggles in that department as they've averaged .337. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Lamphere's way against Bishop Foley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Lamphere made off with a 10-4 win. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ventures turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
