Basketball Recap: Jackson's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Unioto typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Jackson proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 60-46 win over the Unioto Shermans. That's more bragging rights for the Ironman/Ironladies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Jackson, bringing their record for this year to 12-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Unioto, their defeat ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-3.

Jackson will welcome Hillsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Unioto, they will face off against Zane Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Zane Trace knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Unioto likes a good challenge.
