Frankenmuth is 8-2 against Freeland since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Freeland will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Frankenmuth extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Eagles took their game with ease, bagging a 77-6 victory over Bridgeport. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Bearcats are ranked 459th).

Meanwhile, Freeland got the win against Glenn on Friday by a conclusive 35-14. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Frankenmuth better keep an eye on Keenan Cooper. He was instrumental in Freeland's win, rushing for 208 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. Those 208 rushing yards gave Cooper a new career-high.

Freeland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 214 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Freeland didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Wilson Huckeby. Freeland received some extra help from Tristan Comer, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Frankenmuth's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Freeland, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-1.

Frankenmuth barely slipped by Freeland when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 21-20. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
