Soccer Game Preview: Naples vs. Bonita Springs

The Naples Golden Eagles will challenge the Bonita Springs Bullsharks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Naples headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for four straight, but Palmetto Ridge let them put that streak behind them. Naples blew past Palmetto Ridge 6-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Golden Eagles have won six games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Anastasia Smith and Laila Albaghdadi scored all six of Naples' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bonita Springs). They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over Dunbar on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Bullsharks have won by exactly eight goals.

Naples has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Bonita Springs, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7-1.
