Meanwhile, Chaparral came up short against Hot Springs on Tuesday and fell 48-41. The Lobos have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Mesilla Valley Christian School's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Chaparral, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
