Parkwood was the 60-50 winner over Piedmont when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Parkwood Wolf Pack took a hard 58-40 fall against the Piedmont Panthers on Tuesday. The Wolf Pack just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Deshaun Hamrick and Nehemiah Davis certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hamrick posted 14 points and seven rebounds, while Davis had 12 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Hamrick a new career-high in boards.

Even though they lost, Parkwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Piedmont only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.

Bennett Church had an outrageously good game for Piedmont as he went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Graham Blackman, who scored 11 points and three steals.

Parkwood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Piedmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Parkwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-53 win against Central Academy on the 14th. As for Piedmont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-57 victory against West Stanly on the 14th.
