Recap: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Lee County Trojans
The Terrell County Greenwave's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-41 loss at the hands of Lee County. Terrell County has not had much luck with Lee County recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Terrell County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Shaheed Huckaby, who scored 20 points. Huckaby scored a full 48.8% of Terrell County's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Keavante Anderson, who scored 13 points.
Terrell County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lee County, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
Terrell County will head out on the road to face off against Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lee County will be home for the holidays to greet Baldwin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
