Fredericktown is a perfect 10-0 against Mt. Gilead since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Freddies will head out to square off against the Indians at 5:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Fredericktown's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over East Knox. The Freddies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mt. Gilead, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Shekinah Christian with a sharp 16-1 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Flames: they've now won four in a row.

Anavey Jodrey was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Trinity Schrote was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Mt. Gilead was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Fredericktown has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mt. Gilead, they pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Fredericktown took their win against Mt. Gilead in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 29-0 score. Do the Freddies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
