Baseball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for North County

North County won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 9-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Zak Meador was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Kendrick Simon, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

North County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, North County will square off against Valle Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Hillsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
