McMullen County won the last time they faced Benavides, and Brandon Timms did his part to make sure it happened again. The McMullen County Cowboys breezed past the Benavides Eagles to the tune of 91-22 on Monday thanks in part to Timms, who went 11 for 20 en route to 29 points. The matchup was his eighth in a row with at least 21 points.

The win made it two in a row for McMullen County and bumps their season record up to 27-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 60 points. As for Benavides, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
