Baseball Recap: San Mateo Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when San Mateo took on Woodside on Thursday. The Bearcats fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

San Mateo has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. As for Woodside, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-15.

As of now, neither San Mateo nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
