Basketball Recap: Jay Takes a Loss

Jay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Sequoyah Eagles, falling 73-46. The Bulldogs lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 46-44 score last time.

Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sequoyah, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jay will face off against Checotah at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sequoyah will take on Kansas in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th at.
