Soccer Recap: Sipsey Valley Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Sipsey Valley and Demopolis, and Sipsey Valley kept the tradition alive. The Sipsey Valley Bears lost 5-0 to the Demopolis Tigers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Demopolis, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Sipsey Valley will square off against Paul W. Bryant at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Demopolis, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Tuscaloosa Academy on the 27th.
