After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northside - Pinetown, Pamlico County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 62-58 W over the East Carteret Mariners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-38 back in January.

Despite the loss, East Carteret still got an impressive performance from Myles Shelton, who went 9 of 13 en route to 18 points and seven boards. Thanks to that strong game, Shelton now owns an excellent 45.3% shooting accuracy. Chase Roberson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Pamlico County's record is now 5-12. As for East Carteret, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Pamlico County has already played their next contest, a 56-45 win against Jones on the 7th. As for East Carteret, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 69-30 defeat against Lejeune on the 5th.
