Baseball Recap: South Beloit's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

South Beloit came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Guilford Vikings, falling 13-1. The loss was the Sobos' first of the season.

South Beloit saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JT Sanders, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Gage Pasiecznik also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Beloit fell to 3-1. As for Guilford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, South Beloit will take on Westminster Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Beloit is facing Westminster Christian at the right time seeing as Westminster Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Guilford, they will square off against Rockford Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
