            Volleyball Recap: Highlands Bluebirds vs. Newport Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Highlands had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Newport Wildcats as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.

 Audrey Sorrentino was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 12  aces and four  digs. Those  12  aces gave  her a new career-high.  Ava Muzumdar was another key player,  getting six  digs and two  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Highlands  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 30  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in six consecutive  contests.
Highlands' win bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Newport, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 18 of their last 20 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-23 record  this season.
As of now, neither Highlands nor Newport have any future games scheduled.
