Flag Football Game Preview: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. Lincoln Hornets

The Patrick Henry Patriots will face off against the Lincoln Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Patrick Henry took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Mission Bay a 6-0 shutout.

Patrick Henry didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Natalie Aguirre Lopez and Piper Mcglenn. Mcglenn is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as she's now made five or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 34-12 to Academy of Our Lady of Peace.

Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1.

Everything went Patrick Henry's way against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in September, as Patrick Henry made off with a 26-0 win. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
