After only 13 points in their last contest, Lithia Springs made sure to put some points up on the board against Douglas County on Wednesday. The Leo Lion blew past the Tigers, posting a 32-0 victory. The Leo Lion might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Ty'Tianna Ritman was nothing short of spectacular: she threw for 175 yards and four TDs on only six passes. Those 175 passing yards gave her a new career-high. Samiya Simmons was in the mix too, providing Lithia Springs with two scores.

Lithia Springs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Leila Essex, Cormyni Ruffin, and Simmons picked up one apiece. Simmons got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win was the fifth in a row for Lithia Springs, bringing their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.6 points over those games. As for Douglas County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Coming up, Lithia Springs is taking a road trip to face off against New Manchester at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Douglas County, they will square off against Riverdale on Tuesday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 6.3 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
