Baseball Game Preview: Brewster Academy National Bobcats vs. Holderness Bulls

Brewster Academy National is 0-6 against Holderness since May of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Bobcats will take on the Bulls at 4:00 p.m. Brewster Academy National has given up an average of 12.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Brewster Academy National managed to slip by St. Paul's the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bobcats lost 17-6 to the Big Red on Wednesday. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Holderness couldn't beat Proctor Academy on Wednesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the sixth inning. The Bulls fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 10-8. The Bulls have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Holderness' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Brewster Academy National, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Brewster Academy National couldn't quite get it done against Holderness in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 10-6. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
