Football Game Preview: Red River Roughriders vs. Minot North + Official Tickets

The Red River Roughriders will head out on the road to face off against Minot North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Red River has given up an average of 27.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Red River is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Dakota's top teams: Grand Forks Central, who was ranked tenth at the time (Red River was ranked 21st). The Roughriders lost 44-20 to the Knights on Friday. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Minot North strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 22-7 victory over Dickinson. Those 22 points were actually the fewest Minot North has put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Red River now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Minot North, their record now sits at 9-0.

Red River took a serious blow against Minot North in their previous matchup back in September, falling 45-14. Can the Roughriders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
