Basketball Recap: Mccomb Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

McComb won the last time they faced Pandora-Gilboa and things went their way on Thursday too. The McComb Panthers put the hurt on the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets with a sharp 55-34 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Rockets are ranked 432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McComb pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
