Volleyball Recap: Center Point's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Brackett on Friday, Center Point came back down to earth. The Pirates fell 3-1 to the Comfort Bobcats/Deer on Tuesday. The Pirates have struggled against the Bobcats/Deer recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 22-25, 25-20.

Corrine Brown continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Comfort, getting 37 assists and 15 digs. Those 37 assists gave Brown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordan Judkins, who had 14 kills, six digs, and three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Center Point fell to 2-1. As for Comfort, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Center Point and Comfort will both be playing Bandera the next time they take the court. The Pirates will host the BULLDOGS at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bobcats/Deer will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
