Softball Recap: Gregory-Portland Wildcats vs. Alice Coyotes
Gregory-Portland won against Ray last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Gregory-Portland Wildcats beat the Alice Coyotes by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 15-1. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Madison Mauricio made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
