Basketball Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss

Kearny was the 74-55 winner over Nutley when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Kearny Kardinals fell 59-49 to the Nutley Maroon Raiders on Saturday.

Kearny's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Nutley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kearny will venture away from home to take on Hoboken at 1:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for Nutley, they will face off against Glen Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nutley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
