Football Recap: Centralia Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Centralia had won three straight games and Rex Bryson did his part to make it four on Friday. Centralia breezed past Palmyra to the tune of 44-8 thanks in part to Bryson, who rushed for 201 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Centralia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Oliver Bohlmeyer and Bryson. Bohlmeyer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Centralia's record is now 7-1. As for Palmyra, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Centralia will head out on the road to face off against Kirksville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palmyra, they will take on South Shelby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
