Soccer Recap: Live Oak Comes Up Short

Live Oak was the 2-0 winner over Walker when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Live Oak Eagles lost 4-0 to the Walker Wildcats on Friday.

Live Oak has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Walker, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 4-9-6.

When Live Oak and Walker next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Live Oak will try to stop Dutchtown's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Walker will square off against Denham Springs and their 14-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
