Basketball Recap: Highland Springs' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Highland Springs lost against Atlee back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highland Springs Springers took a hard 60-42 fall against the Atlee Raiders. The game marked the Springers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Highland Springs' defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Atlee, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Highland Springs and Atlee should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Highland Springs will face off against Armstrong at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 302 places (52 vs. 354). Highland Springs will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Meanwhile, Atlee (ranked 16th) will meet Patrick Henry (ranked 251st) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
