Baseball Recap: Glidden-Ralston Takes a Loss

Glidden-Ralston lost against Coon Rapids-Bayard on June 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 10-3 to the Crusaders.

Glidden-Ralston has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

Coming up, Glidden-Ralston will square off against Boyer Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.62 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. Coon Rapids-Bayard has already played their next contest (against Ar-We-Va), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
