Peninsula is 8-2 against Gig Harbor since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Peninsula Seahawks will venture away from home to challenge the Gig Harbor Tides at 6:00 p.m. This will be Peninsula's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Peninsula is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against North Kitsap on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, everything went Gig Harbor's way against North Thurston on Monday as Gig Harbor made off with a 16-5 victory. The Tides haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Gig Harbor's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Peninsula, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Peninsula suffered a grim 14-2 defeat to Gig Harbor in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Peninsula avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
